The Radiofrequency Facial uses Radio Frequency energy into the skin. Due to this process, the focused energy penetrates the skin layers which in turn heats the skin tissue where the collagen fibres are embedded. The localised heating causes an immediate contraction of collagen fibres, therefore, increasing the metabolism of the fibroblasts.

As a result, the tighter skin layers will be smoother, healthier and younger looking.

To benefit from the long-term effects of the Radiofrequency facial it is advised to have a course of 8 at weekly intervals, then each month for maintenance.

Radiofrequency Facial – The Process

Step 1 - Initial Consultation

This treatment focuses in on an area of concern on the face or neck that collagen loss is present to help tighten the skin and reduce lines and wrinkles. Skin Tightening uses a Focus Fractional Radio Frequency energy that is heat induced to penetrate deep down into the dermis of the skin causing the contraction of collagen fibres to get an immediate plumping effect but also increases synthesis of new collagen and elastin fibres and assists product infusion. Collagen takes 14-21 days to synthesizse therefore results can be seen in the 3rd/4th treatment.

The tightening and lifting effect works well on foreheads, double chins, around the eyes and around the mouth.

Step 2 - The Treatment

Your skin will be cleansed and lightly exfoliated before applying ultrasound gel to the treatment area. Section by section you will feel circular motions warming the skin to 40c to stimulate your collagen. Once complete you will be left to relax with a Hydrating Gel mask to Hydrate and soothe. Treatment can take 30-45 minutes.

Step 3 - Recovery

Possible mild redness.

Step 4 - Aftercare

We recommend a course 6-8 weekly with monthly maintenance for best results. Keep treated area away from any excess heat and no hair removal to be carried out for 48 hours. Drink plenty of water and follow with recommended homecare routine.
