HIFU Facelift - The Process

Step 1 - Initial Consultation

Your concerns and needs will be assessed in a free consultation, where we will agree on the areas to be treated and patch test will be carried out. Treatment can commence 7 days post patch test.

Step 2 - The Treatment

The skin will be cleansed and lightly exfoliated. The HIFU handpiece is placed on the skin and held in one area at a time. A slight vibration and warmth can then be felt whilst the energy penetrates the skin, before the handpiece is then moved to the next area of treatment. Focused ultrasound energy passes straight through the skin surface and stimulates collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. This gives lift, improves support and tightens the skin. Typically just one treatment is required. The 3D HIFU Facelift can also be combined with other face sculpting treatments, such as dermal fillers, for enhanced results.

Step 3 - Recovery

There is normally no downtime or recovery time needed. Most people return to normal activities right away.

Step 4 - Aftercare

A noticeable improvement in your facial contouring and fine lines and wrinkles will generally be visible within a 4 week period, whilst further improvement in wrinkles and facial skin tightening may be seen up to 20 weeks post treatment as collagen is renewed within the skin.
